Dr. Christopher Krubert joined ApolloMD in 2003 and has helped grow the company into one of the most innovative and successful healthcare professional services organizations in the nation. With an MBA from the University of Michigan and seven years of formal business experience with companies like Arthur Anderson, Dr. Krubert brings significant insight to the clinical outsourcing industry. He has led the transformation of many emergency departments both as a clinician as well as Medical Director. He works with partner hospitals and independent institutions as a consultant, helping them to achieve clinical and operational best practices. Moreover, he lectures nationally in the areas of quality and leadership. Dr. Krubert received his MD and trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago. He is currently an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Senior Scholar at Duke University Fuqua School of Business. He serves as an expert advisor to Urgent Matters, Heartscape Technologies, and Radiant Ventures, and sits on the board for MedEx International. He was recently recognized as one of Ernst & Young's 2009 Entrepreneurs of the Year and lauded a "Top 50 Healthcare Leader" in Georgia.
