Melissa Clinkscales joined ApolloMD in 2007 as a chief anesthetist with ApolloMD's Anesthesia Division and currently serves as Director of Anesthesia Operations. With over 27 years of clinical and practice management experience in multiple hospital settings, Ms. Clinkscales has expertise in business and clinical operations with regards to cost effective scheduling and departmental problem solving. Specializing in new startups, she plays a key role in the development of the models for our new practices with regards to schedules and compensation plans. She facilitates the development of the programs needed for "best practice" to guarantee that each anesthesia group in ApolloMD stays focused on patient care and follows up with management of the contracts long term. Ms. Clinkscales began her career in the health care field in 1982, attaining a BSRRT degree from Georgia State University. Building on this degree, she attended Emory University where she received a Masters of Medical Science in Anesthesiology.
