Dr. Michael Dolister joined ApolloMD in 2003. Dr. Dolister works with the medical directors and administrative teams of partner hospitals to improve clinical operations, patient throughput, customer service and physician efficiency. He speaks nationally on emergency department efficiency and excellence in patient satisfaction and serves as a consultant for the Baptist Leadership Institute. For the last 10 years, Dr. Dolister has served as the Medical Director of Emergency Services at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where he was a key member of the medical leadership team that helped Baptist Hospital, Inc. to become the recipient of the 2003 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Dr. Dolister received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed a residency in emergency medicine at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Dolister has been a member of the Baptist Hospital's Performance Review Committee since 1999, served as Baptist Hospital department chief of emergency medicine (2000-2001), vice chairman of the medical board (2001), chairman of the medical board (2002) and associate medical director of Baptist Hospital, Inc. (2002-2006).
