Physician Recruiter, Emergency Medicine

Job Title: Physician Recruiter

Required Education: 4 year degree preferred

Experience: 2-3 years of Physician Recruitment experience

Location: Houston, TX (Responsible for Western Territory)

Travel:  40% travel required

Job Description:  Physician Recruiter

  • Identify staffing needs within each practice site and confirm staffing needs with the site Medical Director and Managing Partner
  • Database entry of all candidates
  • Establish rapport and promote ApolloMD to Emergency Medicine residency programs and graduating residents
  • Cost effectively promote ApolloMD EM opportunities, generating sufficient candidates to fill vacancies in a timely manner
  • Pass leads regarding new business opportunities/hospitals interested in our services to the Sales & Marketing Department

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated, self-motivated
  • Previous experience in physician recruiting, Emergency Medicine preferred
  • Ability to understand and analyze the relationship between compensation, staffing ratios, and flow
  • Salesmanship, ability to close provider contracts

  • Work with Site Medical Directors to proactively identify and resolve day to day operational issues
  • Liaison with company departments including scheduling, credentialing, billing, legal, human resources
