ApolloMD entered the Radiology market in 2009 by request of one of our Emergency Medicine clients. Impressed with ApolloMD's improvements in efficiency and quality of care, they approached us and asked us to take on their Radiology department as well. With the vast array of technological improvements in today's health care environment, physicians have become increasingly dependent on radiology images to make confident and concise diagnoses for patients. As a result, the radiology department often becomes backlogged, which can lead to excessive wait times for patients in various departments throughout a hospital. Finding an efficient means of collecting, interpreting and distributing images is crucial.

Aligning the hospital incentives with those of the Radiologists, we have applied the core principles of our business model to the field of imaging. ApolloMD's Radiology Division focus on three main elements: improvement of radiology workflow, improved patient satisfaction, and providing rapid turnaround.
