For more than 70 years, Floyd Health care System has served the families of Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is a non-profit 304-bed acute care hospital and regional referral center covering over 40 medical specialties. As a Level II trauma center, Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center’s emergency department sees an average of 210 patients daily and 75,000 patients annually.

We started in 1983 by partnering with a nonprofit health system, and we are proud of our history as a completely private, independent group for the last four decades. We have never accepted outside ownership.
